Online customer service company Web Mystery Shoppers International
Inc has completed a study showing that shoppers find florist web
sites overpriced.
The company claimed that the research showed almost 30% of Internet
users said that shipping prices were too high to consider buying
online while 34% said that they got error messages when they tried
to place their orders. A further 68% were unsure if they could cancel
their order after it had been placed.
The study was carried out in December 2002 and January 2003 and
polled 115 mystery shoppers.
