FTD Web Search Florists Directory
FTD has introduced a new Internet search directory, www.FTD florists.com,
to help florists promote their Web sites and drive orders straight
to FTD florists.
The company started promoting the new Web site during Valentine's
Day and will continue through Mother's Day. In other florist industry
news, Teleflora announced it would invest $11 million in advanced
technology.
Teleflora's florists use RTI for their point-of-sale systems, which
offers florists the ability to manage multi-location and high-volume
business efficiently. The announcement came at Teleflora's RTI User
Conference, which 400 florists attended in January.
